Barking Up The Wrong Tree

I did a series of interviews last summer when my book was first released. Here's a link that shows some of my process for drawing my cartoons. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Carving Out The Future

This is an older cartoon I recently redid with color. I chose this particular cartoon to accompany my announcement that I've signed with Ink Bottle Syndicate. Ink Bottle is a publisher that handles a cartoon called 'Tundra' created by Chad Carpenter.

The syndicate is run by Bill Kellogg.  Bill has created a weekly comics section for nationwide distribution called 'Funnies Extra' and asked me to be a part of his publication!

For the last several weeks, I've been coloring my previous work to use in the paper, which is why I've been using so many archived cartoons.  Thank you for your patience and continued readership.  Your feedback is the currency I get from cartooning and I truly appreciate you, the reader!

Also, let me say thanks to the folks who invited me to Sac Con last Sunday!  I had a great time and met lots of really nice folks.  What a great way to wind up the year!  Take care.

Big Tip

The positive side of having a comic that no one reads is the being able to use old material that only five people have read. Here's a cartoon from my archive I recently colored for an upcoming publication. I hope you enjoy it and have a great weekend!

Home Made

I was going to post this closer to Christmas, but my time has been divided between creating new cartoons and coloring old ones for an upcoming publication. This is the first cartoon I've drawn that was specifically designed to be in color.   Rethinking my approach to a finished presentation has been an interesting challenge and I hope you're happy with the results.

There's still time to get books and calendars if you're thinking about what to get someone for Christmas. They're great items for propping up a wobbly table or holding a door open. See you Thursday!

Whine With That?

There's still time to get books for Christmas.  Also, if you're considering purchasing a month of Fundays, I have three wall calendars left in stock.  I won't be printing any more due to the limited sale life of calendars, so if you're on the fence, better buy them now.

I'll be at Sac-Con on Dec 11th at the Scottish Rites Center in Sacramento. Please, stop by my table and say hello if you're so inclined.   Have a great weekend!
