Emotional Bond
Managing money can be stressful. Not the money itself, because numbers simply are what they are. What I really have to manage is expectations (my own included) and EVERYONE has emotional expectations revolving around money.
I spent the first year of my job learning the fundamentals of book keeping (I'd never balanced a checkbook). The rest was learning about dealing with what people want. Here's an interesting video about happiness. It appears there is a price on happiness. If you have a short attention span like I do, skip to around 17 minutes into the presentation to see the monetary value of happiness.

Cash Out
Lately, I've smothered my site with a lot of stuff concerning money, due to my obligation to draw cartoons for a CPA firm. I posted one on Face Book and a fan responded in the comments with this line. I'd heard it before, but thought it was relevant, so I cranked out this masterpiece. I wish they'd written the pun for the notes on the freezer. Those three words took hours to figure out. If I keep whining, will you think my life is tough?

A Chorus Whine
This idea came from a performance Andy Kaufman gave one evening when he got up and began singing '99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.' When the audience realized he was going to sing the entire song, they began to heckle him mercilessly.
Somewhere around sixteen bottles, he decided to call it quits. The tide immediately turned and the crowd begged him to finish.
