Managing money can be stressful. Not the money itself, because numbers simply are what they are. What I really have to manage is expectations (my own included) and EVERYONE has emotional expectations revolving around money.
I spent the first year of my job learning the fundamentals of book keeping (I'd never balanced a checkbook). The rest was learning about dealing with what people want. Here's an interesting video about happiness. It appears there is a price on happiness.
